My name is Borbála Kisgyörgy and I took over the chairwoman position of the Hungarian Camping Association in the second half of 2019.
The Hungarian Camping Association was formed in 1992 in order to bring together and represent camping operators.
The Hungarian Camping Association prospered well by the turn of the Millennium and renovations and increased quality requirements were also ensured.
Of the approximately 260 campsites registered with the National Tourist Information Centre, twenty percent have quality labels. Our aim is to expand membership and promote the quality certification mark system since the guarantee of quality is the trademark.
We feel that our ambition is in line with the future strategy of the Hungarian Tourism Agency.
In 2019 the trademark system was reviewed with serious work and the criteria are appropriate for qualification.
The Camping Association considers it essential for renewal to expand its relations and to create the widest possible cooperation with the various organizations involved in tourism.
Our website is up-to-date in all respects and it can worthily promote Hungarian campsites in Hungary and abroad, the visitor can encounter with all the shades of green.
Our motto is: “in green everything is more beautiful.”
